Kenneth D. Gibbs

Before leading Maimonides, Mr. Gibbs was President of the Municipal Securities Group of Jefferies, LLC for seven years. Prior to that, he was the CEO of DEPFA First Albany Securities, LLC and held several leadership positions at First Albany Capital, Inc. over the course of 14 years.

Mr. Gibbs was Chair of the Board of Trustees at Maimonides Medical Center from May 2014 through December 2015. He served as a Trustee for more than two years and chaired the Board’s Strategic Planning Committee. In addition, he serves on the Executive Committee and is past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the New York Citizens Budget Commission. Mr. Gibbs is a past Chair of the Board of Trustees of the Securities Industry and Financial Markets Association (SIFMA) PAC, past Chair of SIFMA’s Municipal Executive Committee and a past member of the Municipal Securities Rulemaking Board.

Mr. Gibbs holds a B.A. from Harvard College.
